Joy & Ken Saunders

Joy Saunders, Kay and Lou Morris’s eldest daughter, and her husband Ken began working for Old Favorites at the 30 Front Street West location in 1966. They became stewards of the Old Favorites legacy, carrying the shop’s mission through subsequent locations and into the digital age.

Carrying the legacy forward

Joy and Ken combined the shop’s deep knowledge of rare and out-of-print books with the ability to evolve. Their stewardship helped Old Favorites remain a gathering place for collectors and book lovers across generations.
